The new C2R-VW2 is a radio replacement interface with navigation outputs for use with select Volkswagen vehicles. It retains the premium amplified audio system in most vehicles, as well as the steering wheel controls without use of a SWI-CAN module. It provides navigation based signals – including VSS, illumination, reverse trigger and parking brake – from the CAN BUS for use by an aftermarket nav radio. And, to make installation super easy, the C2R-VW2 automatically detects the vehicle upon installation, and self-configures to the appropriate model and year settings.
