Stinger® would like to congratulate Sound Waves, Inc. of Memphis, Tennessee, for taking 2nd place in the Pioneer® Sound Build-Off competition with its Stinger-powered1971 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia convertible.
Each the Pioneer Sound Build-Off participant was given approximately 8 weeks to build their vehicle around a set package of Pioneer Premier branded products before being judged at the Mobile Entertainment Road Show. The vehicles were scored according to current International Auto Sound Challenge Association (IASCA) rules, and attendees were asked to vote for their favorite vehicle.
